Reality Checkpoint · Portland

The Peep Show

See yourself in real 3-D.

Reality Checkpoint · Stereographs No. —
A real stereograph · two views, one card — three dimensions through the glass

An 1890s photo booth, brought back to life.

The Victorians called the stereoscope a "peep show" — you'd peer in and a flat card would bloom into three dimensions. We built a booth around it. We photograph you with a true 3-D camera, print an antique-style stereograph card on the spot, and hand it to you to view in a real stereoscope. It's the most surprising thing at any event — and it's yours to keep.

How it works

1

Sit for a portrait

Solo, couples, or your whole crew. Dressed up or dressed down — your call.

2

We print your card

An aged, sepia stereograph card — printed and in your hands in minutes, right at the booth.

3

See it in 3-D

Peer through the stereoscope and watch yourself lift off the card in real depth.

What you take home

The stereograph card

A printed, antique-style 3-D card of you — the keepsake, in your hands the same day.

A stereoscope to view it

Peer through the glass and it blooms into real depth. Take one home, or borrow ours at the booth.

The full photo

Your portrait as a clean digital image too, delivered to a private online gallery.

Bring the Peep Show to your event

Weddings, festivals, private parties, brand activations — a live 3-D portrait studio that becomes the thing everyone talks about.
